Adaptive Acoustical Control
Adaptive Acoustical Control™ is our solution platform for room acoustics and acoustical materials usage. We start with a matrix of psychoacoustic research data, then evaluate each room with respect to architectural form, layout and materials involved. We have found each room surface present can be used to accomplish a specific task, whether a hard or soft material. All materials will reflect sound in a measurable way, determined by the Spl level, frequency response, and power response over an included angle. A range of acoustic transfer functions is established modified by the room volume. We then look at the requirements and goals for the installation and design a solution that works best. Soundkinetic's uniqueness derives from our engineering of materials usage that meets the acoustic goals. Not simply putting a bunch of panels in a room, Soundkinetics is confident that we can creatively apply hard and soft materials to accomplish acoustical transfer functions that are appropriate for a specific room - while meeting the aesthetic goals.
No installation details are overlooked, we will work to the client's level of detail. The primary objective is to use all acoustical and mechanical mechanisms available to achieve absorption, diffusion, and reflection efficiently. Acoustic solutions are verified by testing, and of course listening, and the application of autocorrelation methodologies.
When it comes to treatment product development, Adaptive Acoustical Control is a very powerful tool,
making custom designs very adaptable to our clients' needs.
